I write with my blood and I am not crazy because of it

I listen to and thank you for your wolf whistling for $10.000
I admit to having caused the rape for dressing provokingly for $50.000
I let you grind me in the bus for $15.000
My name is Anahí De Fex. Anahí, like the character, De Fex like the playwright who created the character. I am a playwright as well. I am also a feminist or try to be one. But I have failed as a feminist or has feminism failed me?
In a society where pornography has gone mainstream, it is hard to know what being a free woman really means. What if even when I strive to decolonise my body and my mind, I still cannot escape patriarcal oppression and thinking? What if the only thing left for women was to set a price to the oppresions that we undergo everyday as if they were "services" or "sacrifices" that we perform for men? We'd succumb to patriarchy and the capitalist market, but at least we'd be sexual workers instead of sexual slaves?
The performance oscillates between the fictional story of Anahí, which is loosely inspired by the relationship of Valerie Solanas with Andy Warhol, and constant direct questioning of the audience as they are asked to either set a price to women's oppressions and to attach a price tag to the performer's body , or if they consider themselves to be feminists, to cut the price tags from the performer's body.
She also prays to the Virgen de los Preservativos (Virgin of the Condoms) for the condom not to break because with abortion being illegal, there might not be another acceptable alternative.
